Namibia Introduces Visas on Arrival

Namibian Home Affairs Minister, Frans Kapofi has announced the launch of the ‘Visa on Arrival’ pilot project at Hosea Kutako International Airport. Tourists from 47 countries will no longer have to apply for visas in advance before leaving their countries for tourism, visiting or transiting through Namibia in Southern Africa.

The following 47 countries have been selected:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Carbo Verde, Cameroon, Ventral Africa Republic, Chad, Comoros, Cote d’Ivore, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Madagascar, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tunisia, Western Sahara Republic, Uganda, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Chile, Czech Republic, Hungary, Mexico, Moldova, Nicaragua, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Venezuela, Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Ukraine.
