Jao Camp, in the heart of the world’s largest inland delta, has re-opened after a complete renovation. In addition to five tented suites, the camp now offers two new and exclusive villas that feature a private vehicle, guide, chef and butler.
This eco-conscious, solar powered safari camp has a new main area that is elevated into the tree canopy with the new suites and villas all featuring private plunge pools, lounge and dining areas as well as en-suite bathrooms that have both indoor and outdoor showers.
An interesting addition to the camp is the Centre of Knowledge Museum and Gallery, which features a two-storey high giraffe skeleton at its core and offers some fascinating information on this region.
