An approximate three-hour road transfer takes you and your family to the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve in the Waterberg area. Spend four nights in the exclusive Mhondoro Villa which comes with a private game viewer vehicle with ranger, private chef, private butler and housekeeping staff.

Day 1:

You will be met by a luxury transfer at OR Tambo International Airport, taking you to the award-winning Fairlawns Boutique Hotel, conveniently situated in the Sandton suburb of Morningside Manor in Johannesburg. Kick off some quality relaxation and family time at the private Villa Residence on the Fairlawns estate. Make the most of a perfect setting in the villa’s three suites, private gardens, heated swimming pool and alfresco dining room and lounge. Overnight at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you will be met for an approximate three-hour road transfer to the Big 5 Welgevonden Game Reserve in the magnificent, pristine and biodiverse Waterberg region. The exclusive Mhondoro Villa, where you will be welcomed for four nights, is perfectly suited for families. With three en-suite suites, each member of the family can enjoy his or her own space then relax and spend fun moments together in and around the heated pool. Retreat to the villa’s private yoga room or gym for some time alone while the private chef, butler and housekeeping staff take care of the rest. Overnight at Mhondoro Game Lodge. [B, L, D]

Day 3 - 5:

Your personal ranger with private vehicle allocated only to your family will discuss your schedule before setting off for some game-viewing action. The rich and diverse variety of untouched environment with more than 50 mammal species including the Big 5, 300 bird species, and 2 000 plant species can be appreciated and enjoyed while views of rolling grasslands and semi-deciduous forest will take your breath away. Whilst on game drive, keep an eye out for brown hyena, honey badger, cheetah and giraffe, and don’t forget the “Little 5”: Elephant shrew, Leopard tortoise, Rhinoceros beetle, Buffalo weaver and Ant lion. Day 6:

After an early morning game drive you will be met for your return transfer to Johannesburg where the Villa Residence on the Fairlawns Estate will once again be your home for the night.
