This fun and highly interactive pursuit enables guests to appreciate the fine art of wine blending as they use three cultivars to create five blends. The results are formally judged by the Backsberg management tasting team. A traditional spit-braai in the spectacular garden setting is a wonderful way to conclude this highly enjoyable event.
Visit historic Babylonstoren for an authentic farm experience
Babylonstoren is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms in the Cape Winelands; and, they have retained much of their historic grandeur by cultivating extensive, traditional farm gardens bursting with fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables. Guests can participate in a unique farm program that can include picking their own salads, baking bread in the old wood-fired oven, handcrafting cheeses and curing a variety meats.
