This is a carefully curated 12-day package through South Africa which encourages you to step into your own Zen moments, leveraging on the immense power and beauty of nature, as well as the presence of hand-picked practitioners of impeccable integrity to step out of the mind and into the spaciousness of self.

Spend four nights in Cape Town at the iconic Tintswalo Atlantic in the charming seaside town of Hout Bay. Experience a full day Cape Peninsula Tour as well a guided meditation atop Table Mountain. A trip to the Cape Winelands will include a wellness experience that encompasses a guided labyrinth walk, “calming of the mind” session as well as lunch and a wine tasting at a prestigious estate. Your next three nights will be spent at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve near Gansbaai. The lodge has been constructed within rare milkwood and fynbos forest on a scenic mountain slope. It is here that you will experience forest bathing as well as a silent nature walk, guided by a practitioner. After a flight to Johannesburg and a road transfer to Marataba Trails Lodge, you will be in the paradise of Marakele National Park for four nights. This interactive safari experience will include game drives, with exceptional game viewing within this remote Big 5 African wilderness.

Day 1: Cape Town

You will be transferred from Cape Town International Airport to Tintswalo Atlantic in Hout Bay. There’s no denying that Tintswalo Atlantic is a special place. It’s placed between the ocean and mountain on Chapman’s Peak Drive, which forms part of the Table Mountain National Park, one of South Africa’s eight World Heritage Sites. Tintswalo Atlantic is on the Atlantic Ocean’s water’s edge and has views of sea, mountain and sky that will entrance you with their natural beauty. This boutique hotel has been graded as 5 stars and this is evident in every detail of the furnishings and decorations as well as the fine dining and warm hospitality. There is a small pebbled beach in front of the lodge to stroll on when you aren’t taking a dip in the swimming pool or relaxing in your luxury suite. Overnight at Tintswalo Atlantic.

Day 2: Cape Town

After breakfast, a transfer awaits to take you to Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain. A professional practitioner will gently facilitate an awe-inspiring silent meditation on top of the mountain. Spend the rest of your day at leisure. You could immerse yourself in South African design at the V&A Waterfront’s Watershed, soak up the African sun on one of the many beaches around Cape Town or enjoy a lunch at one of Cape Town’s award-winning restaurants. As an optional extra, you can experience the thrilling and almost hypnotic power of a sacred drumming session at Tintswalo on the pool deck overlooking endless ocean. Overnight at Tintswalo Atlantic. Day 3: Cape Town

After breakfast you will be collected for a full day private Cape Peninsula Tour with a scenic drive taking you to the south-western tip of the Cape Peninsula. Drive along False Bay to the fisherman village of Kalk Bay then to Simon’s Town, home of the South African Navy, before enjoying the spectacular sight of quirky penguins at Boulders Beach. Continue to Cape Point Nature Reserve with its abundance of fauna and flora and dramatic view of the ocean. Return via the small coastal village of Scarborough where you will stop off on a breathtaking beach. A professional Tai Chi practitioner will meet you here and take you through the gentle art of Tai Chi, a soft style of martial arts, helping you to focus on your breath and movements, and bringing body and mind into balance. It’s also called “mindfulness in motion”. No special clothing or experience is required. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Cape Point Vineyards before meandering along the Atlantic coast via Chapman’s Peak Drive (subject to the pass being open) before returning to Tintswalo Atlantic. Day 4: Cape Town and Winelands

After breakfast, you will be collected and taken to the beautiful Winelands area near Stellenbosch for a wellness experience consisting of a “calming of the mind” sound therapy session, followed by an energy-balancing massage, complete with color meditation and breathing techniques. Come away feeling positive, motivated, rejuvenated and with a renewed sense of inner power. A short drive then takes you to a nearby wine farm which has an 11-circuit labyrinth in a beautifully manicured garden. You will be met by a qualified practitioner to enhance your experience of walking a labyrinth – giving you the opportunity to connect to all the Kingdoms (mineral, plant, animal, human, angelic and divine). Then enjoy wine tasting and lunch in the Winelands. You will be taken back to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Tintswalo Atlantic. [B]

Day 5 - 7: Cape Town – Grootbos Nature Reserve

After breakfast, you will be collected for a private transfer of approximately two hours to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. One word aptly describes Grootbos Private Nature Reserve: breathtaking. It is found in indigenous fynbos near Hermanus in South Africa’s Western Cape province. The lodge has been constructed within rare milkwood and fynbos forests on a scenic mountain slope, with striking views of Walker Bay, the famous whale-watching region. What sets this area apart is that it is home to distinct and unique animal, bird and plant species, some of which can be found nowhere else in the world. With all the trimmings of 5-star indulgences, you will savor the finest cuisine and lodgings and experience tours on foot, horseback or 4×4. Activities at Grootbos will include: A half-day excursion into nature with a uniquely qualified practitioner who will brief you and then send you off on a two-hour solo, silent nature walk. On your return you will be guided to reflect on and interpret the messages nature has given you. This is a profoundly powerful, moving and life-affirming mindful practice. Day 8 - 11: Grootbos Nature Reserve – Cape Town – Johannesburg – Waterberg

After breakfast, you will be collected for your private transfer to Cape Town International Airport to board your connecting flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport. On arrival you will be road transferred to Marataba in the Waterberg region. Marataba Trails Lodge is South Africa’s only malaria-free Big 5 walking safari trail. The lodge is situated in the explorer’s paradise of Marakele National Park, filled with red mountains and grass-clad hills of Waterfall Valley. Spectacular scenery and wildlife encounters promise an interactive safari experience. You will have the chance to experience a mindful game drive, where you will stop and enjoy a meditation as you connect with the surrounding bush. The lodge is exclusive with an intimate number of people being hosted at a time and has been built using natural elements of stone and wood. Day 12: Waterberg - Johannesburg
