Spend your first night at Zimbabwe’s oldest luxury hotel, the Victoria Falls Hotel, where Edwardian grandeur creates an ambience of exclusivity. Here you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls.

Your next two nights will be spent onboard the exclusive Zambezi Queen, wrapped in luxurious surroundings as you glide along the Chobe River. Your luxurious journey ends with two nights at Chobe Game Lodge, overlooking the Chobe River.

Day 1: Victoria Falls

On your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Hotel. The iconic Victoria Falls Hotel is the epitome of old-world glamour and sophistication, situated close to one of nature’s greatest spectacles—the mighty Victoria Falls. The hotel is over a century old and was originally built in 1904 as accommodation for the workers building the Victoria Falls Bridge. The bridge was the brainchild of Cecil John Rhodes who dreamt of a railway stretching from the Cape to Cairo. A steam train trip is a bucket list item when staying at the Victoria Falls Hotel as well as sipping G&T’s on the veranda during a famous Victoria Falls Hotel High Tea. The hotel has a private walkway that leads directly to the ‘Smoke that Thunders’. You will enjoy a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders), tons of water plunge over a chasm that is nearly 2km wide, falling just over 100m in to the Zambezi River below. The shower of spray and the thunderous sound of the water can be heard for miles around. The tour takes you to the best view points of this iconic waterfall, allowing you to soak up the powerful and enigmatic atmosphere of Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls Hotel

Built in 1904, in the gracious Edwardian style of the colonial era, this 5-star luxury hotel, which offers every modern convenience, is set in lush sub-tropical gardens within the Victoria Falls National Park. The Falls is less than a 10 minute walk away along the hotel’s private pathway, and is both audible and visible from the landmark hotel itself. Stanley’s Terrace, a famous rendezvous for Africa’s adventurers, offers clear views of the Victoria Falls Bridge, part of Cecil John Rhode’s ambitious plan to build a railway line from Cape to Cairo. Fondly known as the “Grand Old Lady of the Falls’, the Victoria Falls Hotel is one of Africa’s most celebrated and nostalgic hotels.

Day 2 - 3: Chobe National Park

After breakfast you will be transferred from Victoria Falls Hotel to Kasane Airport after which you will be transferred to the Zambezi Queen for your luxury river safari. The Zambezi Queen is well known for being one of the world’s most unique river safari experiences. This beautiful floating hotel glides effortlessly along the Chobe River and showcases the African wildlife that come to the banks to quench their thirst. The Chobe National Park, fondly referred to as ‘the Land of the Giants’, is world renowned for its massive population of elephants. The Zambezi Queen is docked a few kilometers away from the meeting place of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. This magnificent floating hotel boasts an upper deck with a lounge and a bar as well as a dining room., There is also a small swimming pool to the rear of the boat. The reception area is on the lower deck and features a gift shop. This is a safari from a different perspective.

Zambezi Queen

The Zambezi Queen is well known for being a unique and exceptional river safari. This beautiful houseboat glides effortlessly along the Chobe River and showcases African wildlife that come to the banks to quench their thirst. The Chobe National Park is world famous and is the land of giants with a massive population of elephant. The Zambezi Queen is docked a few kilometres away from where four African countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. The reception area is on the lower deck with a gift shop. The areas for socialising are all on the upper deck where you will find a lounge with a bar and a dining room, there is also a small swimming pool to the rear of the boat. This is a safari from a different perspective.

Day 4 - 5: Chobe National Park

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Kasane Airport and then onto Chobe Game Lodge. Chobe Game Lodge, situated within the game-rich Chobe National Park and overlooking the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains, is the location of safari dreams. It is also the only permanent safari lodge in the park. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to game viewing in this untamed part of Africa and the prized Big 5 take center stage. The lodge features a large swimming pool, library, gym and beauty salon as well as the stylish Thwene cigar bar, with a billiards table. Meals are served on the restaurant terrace and, after dinner, you can head to the stargazing deck.

Chobe Game Lodge

Overlooking the Chobe River and the game-rich Caprivi floodplains, Chobe Game Lodge is the only safari lodge situated within Chobe National Park. Guests will enjoy luxury en-suite accommodation that blends stylish Africa with every modern convenience. They can relax at the pool, bar, lounge or library with tranquil terraces offering fantastic river views. Star-lit dinners and traditional dancing around the fire in the open-air boma set on the river bank amongst the giant Mahogany trees are experiences of a lifetime.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kasane Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
