Day 1 – 2: Zambezi National Park
Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be transferred to Mpala Jena Camp, where you will spend two nights. Mpala Jena Camp is an exquisite safari camp within a private concession in the Zambezi National Park. It overlooks the Zambezi River and is an immersion into the spirit of Africa and its wild landscape. This national park has a healthy population of wildlife including buffalo, elephant and lion. The camp itself is intimate and has a select number of guest tents that have been decorated and furnished with Moroccan flare. The camp prides itself on its eco-friendly design and that all of its electricity comes from solar power. You will also have the opportunity to see the renowned Victoria Falls.
Day 3 – 5: Okavango Delta
After breakfast, you will be transferred from Mpala Jena Camp to Kasane Airport, where you will board your Mackair flight to the Duba Plains airstrip. You will spend three nights at Duba Plains Camp. Duba Plains Camp is one of Africa’s most famous safari camps. The stars of this wildlife show are the lion prides and the buffalo herds that traverse this part of the world. This safari camp is located in the far north of Botswana’s Okavango Delta and is the only place in Africa that the lions habitually hunt in water. The camp itself has a distinctively intimate and remote feel with a small lounge and dining area and a fire pit set out in front of the camp to star gaze after exciting game viewing days. There is a separate swimming pool and hide, the perfect places to cool off from the heat of the African sun.
Day 6 – 8: Okavango Delta
After breakfast, you will board a Mackair flight from Duba Plains Airstrip to the Xigera Airstrip, where you will spend the next three nights at Xigera Safari Lodge. Xigera Camp is in one of the most sought-after African destinations in the world, the Okavango Delta in Botswana, a land of unrivalled beauty and home to a unique ecosystem. Xigera Camp nestles itself on Paradise Island and is surrounded by deep channels and verdant vegetation in the Moremi Game Reserve. This camp is the essence of remote, getting lost in the wilds of Africa. The camp has a lounge, a bar as well as a dining room and for a more outdoor experience, a traditional African boma where stories are shared around roaring fires. The camp also has a small plunge pool for dips in the sun.
After breakfast, you will board your Mackair flight from Xigera Airstrip and be taken to Maun Airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Without the professional, timeous and effortless support from Zelda and her team this historical event would have been impossible and probably sub-standard. I can highly recommend them for your next event – be it big or small.
