Experience Sossusvlei and Etosha
Spend a few days in the stark, extraordinary landscapes of Namibia, which stretch endlessly beneath a clear sky. Under the desert, and semi-desert,ecosystems that make up most of Namibia an incredible abundance of life can be uncovered. We first explore Sossusvlei, set near some of Namibia’s greatest sights. Next we head to the famous Etosha National Park, one of the few places you can still watch immense herds of animals thunder across the African plains. The park surrounds the Etosha Salt Pan, whose fleeting waters attract immense numbers of flamingos during the dry winter months.

Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei
Upon early arrival at the Windhoek International Airport you will connect with your scheduled light aircraft flight to Sesriem near the Namib Naukluft Park and Sossusvlei. Marvel at the incredible views as you travel south over the great escarpment to the immense belt of sand dunes of the Namib Desert. Transfer by road from the airstrip to your lodge. End the day with a nature drive taking in the compelling hues of the setting sun.

Day 2: Sossusvlei
Enjoy an early morning guided excursion to Sossusvlei, stopping en-route to uncover the many mysteries of this endless desert landscape as the sun rises. Spend the morning exploring some of the world’s highest dunes and the spectacular Deadvlei, remnants of an ancient lake, and explore the gorges of the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 3: Sossusvlei - Etosha
This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip to meet your scheduled light aircraft flight to the border of the Etosha National Park. From here you will be transferred to your lodge. Etosha is known for its unique landscape of saline desert, savannah and woodlands with the austere Etosha Pan the most definitive feature of the park.

Day 4: Etosha National Park
During your stay you will have the opportunity to enjoy interpretive game drives with your knowledgeable guide. For most of the year you will see vast herds of game against the bleak expanse of white, cracked mud gleaming with ghostlike mirages. Animals depend on a series of waterholes along the southern edge of the pan for survival which allows for rewarding game viewing of the 114 mammal species, including the rare black rhino, cheetah and black-faced impala.

Day 5: Departure
Enjoy an early-morning safari activity (time-permitting) and breakfast before boarding your return light aircraft flight back to Windhoek.
