Uncover the stunning beauty and wildlife of Namibia on a comprehensive tour that reveals the heart of the country. The stark, extraordinary landscapes of Namibia stretch endlessly beneath a clear sky. Beneath the desert and semi-desert ecosystems that make up most of Namibia an incredible abundance of life can be uncovered. The tour begins at Sossusvlei where you will encounter some of Namibia’s most famous sights. After a short stopover in the charming town of Swakopmund, we travel on to Damaraland, one of the most rugged and beautiful regions in the country. Finally we head to the famous Etosha National Park; where the sight of immense herds of animals will take your breath away. The park surrounds the Etosha Salt Pan, whose waters attract immense numbers of animals the dry winter months.

Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei
Upon early arrival at the Windhoek International Airport you will connect with your scheduled light aircraft flight to Sossusvlei. Fly south over the great Escarpment to the vast belt of sand dunes of the Namib Desert. You have the afternoon at leisure. Why not join on a sundowner drive taking in the ever-changing colours of the impressive desert landscape.
Day 2: Sossusvlei
Enjoy an early morning guided excursion to Sossusvlei, stopping en-route to uncover the many mysteries of this immense desert landscape as the sun rises. Spend the morning exploring some of the world’s highest dunes and the dramatic Deadvlei, remnants of an ancient lake, and explore the gorges of the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 5: Swakopmund - Damaraland
After breakfast this morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight north. Fly along the vast plains of the Skeleton Coast and past steep mountains to Damaraland. On arrival you will be transferred to your lodge situated between the Ugab and Huab Rivers. Spend the next few days at leisure exploring the wonders of this intriguing and pristine part of Namibia.

Day 6: Damaraland
Discover gigantic boulders, desert plains, ancient valleys and towering peaks of the surrounding mountains. Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage Site, is home to over 2 000 rock engravings offering a glimpse into a forgotten time. Other special geological attractions include the majestic Brandberg, the Petrified Forest, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes; all well worth a visit. At night, lose yourself in the vast beauty of the diamond-studded African sky.

Day 7: Damaraland - Etosha
This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip. A short flight takes you to your lodge situated at the entrance of the Etosha National Park. Etosha is known for its exceptional landscape of saline desert, savannah and woodlands with the enigmatic Etosha Pan at the heart of the park.

Day 8: Etosha National Park
During your stay you will have the opportunity to enjoy interpretive game drives with your knowledgeable guide or, depending on your lodge, you may experience the thrill of exploring the African bush on foot. The park is home to 114 mammal and 340 bird species. In addition to the Big Five, you can also look forward to sightings of rare and endangered animals such as the black rhino, cheetah and the black-faced impala, which is endemic to north-western Namibia.
