You will spend four nights in Cape Town, which is arguably the most popular family-friendly destination in South Africa. The city has a collection of outdoor adventure activities as well as various museums, theatres and entertainment centres. You will then move on to Kwandwe Game Reserve for two nights and revel in an authentic family safari experience.

Day 1 - 3: Cape Town
On your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be transferred to Southern Sun the Cullinan. Southern Sun the Cullinan, with its bright and comfortable rooms, is set close to Cape Town’s dynamic city centre as well as the Cape Town International Convention Centre, business district and other city attractions. The grand interior of the hotel is complemented by the marble floors, columns and luxury furnishings. Cape Town offers a plethora of child-friendly activities from the Two Ocean’s Aquarium, the V&A Waterfront, Boulder’s Beach to encounter the rare African penguin as well as a selection of pristine Blue-Flag beaches for days spent in the sun. The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, noted for being the most beautiful garden in Africa, is a special highlight for travelling families.
Day 4 - 5: Eastern Cape
After breakfast, you will be transferred Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Port Elizabeth Airport (flight for your own account), you will then be transferred to Kwandwe Ecca Lodge. Kwandwe Private Game Reserve is the pristine section of African bush that flanks the banks of the Great Fish River in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This reserve is home to a vast array of wildlife that include the Big Five and other famous species including cheetah, hippo and giraffe. The reserve also provides a habitat for protected species such as the Black Rhino and Blue Crane. This landscape is nothing short of soul-stirring and the Kwandwe is home to 4 exclusive and luxurious lodges. Activities on the reserve include bush and big game walks, boat cruises and rhino monitoring as well as visits to the Kwandwe community centre to see first-hand how responsible tourism is enriching the lives of everyone that visits here. Ecca Lodge is particularly well-suited for travelling families and offers a playroom area with interactive activities close to the main pool/lodge area. An interactive kitchen caters for the kids, with cooking and baking classes in between safari activities. Child-minders are also available.
Day 6
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Port Elizabeth for your onward travel arrangements.
